Warp is approximately 1/2 inch diameter. The weft is hand-spun, grey, goat's hair yarn. The black hair is goat's hair. The basket is 5 inches wide x 8 inches tall x 12 to 18 inches where the black goat's hair spreads in circumference. Soft and fluid shape. $75. Sold.

Warp is sisal with a wire core. The lip is very strong. Each coil is about 1/2 inch in diameter. The weft is a cranberry multi-colored wool and silk yarn. The base is natural gourd and the beads are carved, stained discs. Handles are circles of bamboo. Size is 9 inches wide x 7 1/2 deep x 23 inches in circumference. $75. Sold.

Each warp coil is 1/2 inch in diameter. The basket is strong, as it is stitched on wire-centered sisal. The form is a fluid square. Weft materials are rust-colored wool and multi-colored silk and wool yarn. Black feathers are stitched into the basket as it is worked. This oval basket is very strong. It is made with wire-centered sisal warp. Each ring is about 1/2 inch in diameter. The weft is made with multicolored green silk & wool yarn. This basket is an unusual oval. It is created with a wire core warp. Each coil is about 1/2 inch in diameter. The basket is created with a brown cotton yarn, a multi-colored tan yarn and horse hair. The horse hair feels prickly and coarse. It measures as an 8 1/2 inch to 5 1/2 oval x 3 1/2 inches deep x by 23 inches in circumference. $75 plus shipping and applicable sales tax.

The weft of this basket was created with recycled computer cord. The warp is recycled telephone wire. The basket is very strong. The beads are brass, Asanti (an ancient African culture) beads, with black glass additions at the bottom. This basket is soft and fluid. It is biomorphic and reflects natural forms. It can also be hung on the wall as an interesting form. It was created on soft cotton warp; the weft is wool with a hairy texture, as well as a nubby white cotton cord. Shells and sand dollars are embedded in the form. This warp about 1/2 inch in diameter. The basket is soft, but quite stable. The weft on the base is rust-colored wool. The top is multi-colored cotton chenille. The beads are hand carved mahogany. Bas 15 - $250
This oval basket measures 8 x 11 inches on the top. The base measures 6 x 8 inches. The basket itself is 5 inches high; to the top of the sticks it is 7.5 inches high. It is tweed beige acrylic yarn with variations of teal and grey on throughout. The sticks are stitched into the coiled shape and were integrated into the form. They can be used as handles. The core material has a wire with jute rope. It is a very solid form. $250 plus shipping and applicable sales tax.

Bas 16 - $125 - Sold
I used an antique pulley from the farm where I grew up. This became the foot of the basket when I drilled holes into the pulley and then started coiling on it with a wire jute core and acrylic yarn. It is nice warm blues and browns. On the top I integrated slices of walnuts around the top edge. It is 10.5 inches in diameter. The fiber rises 5.5 inches; it is on the pulley and reaches a full height of 7 inches. $125 plus shipping and applicable sales tax. Sold.

Bas 17 - $125
This basket is heavy and sturdy. I used Ethernet cable for the core material and telephone wire for the weft. It is wrapped three times and then anchored. (It’s a little tough on the fingers!) I tore apart an old wooden necklace and recycled the beads on the rim. It measures 7 x 11 inches. It is about 5 inches tall. It is oval with two raised sides. $125 plus shipping and applicable sales tax.

Bas 18 - $100
This black wool, fluid form is coiled on wire covered jute. It is very strong. The four corners lift off the base to form scalloped edges. On the final ring, I added hematite triangle beads. The base is a 5 inch circle. The whole basket measures 9 inches square at the rise, and 12 inches across at the corners. It is 3 inches high, but it gives the illusion of being higher. $100 plus shipping and applicable sales tax.

This measures 4 inches high, 5 inches across rim to rim, and 7 inches across ball to ball. The base circle is 4 inches in diameter. The yarn I used was wool over a wire braced jute core. The balls are constructed from felted wool. $80 plus shipping and applicable sales tax.
